I highly recommand phplist. Excellent software and all you will ever need for announce only email lists. If you want discussion lists, ezmlm is the way to go.
I'd like to use a mailing list manager such as PHPlist but am unsure as to how it will work as part of my web site with Drupal.
So...is it relatively easy to run Drupal as one's main web site and then have other software such as PHPlist (mailing list),osCommerce (shopping cart), ViPER Guestbook, osTicket (customer support tickets), etc., run what each of those pieces of software was created to do (mailing lists, shopping cart, guestbook, etc.)?
Or do you know of compatibility issues with running all these together as part of one's web site when using Drupal? I'm somewhat new & am not sure exactly where to start.
Any feedback greatly appreciated! Thank you so much in advance!
I've integrated phplist in my site: vortexslc.com and it's working wonderfully. I also run Coppermine gallery in the same site. I haven't had any problems with running those two programs together. That's about the best I can do for you, I haven't used Drupal yet so I can't help you out in that aspect.
