I'm new round here, but shouldn't this page:

http://drupaldocs.org/api/head/function/theme_comment

Be linked to from here:

http://drupaldocs.org/api/4.6/group/themeable

and, while we're at it, here:

http://drupaldocs.org/api/head/group/themeable

It took me ages to work out how to theme the comments!

...and no reply ...did I post this in the wrong place?

If I am wrong or posted in the wrong place, just say.

If no one cares about the bug in the docs I'm pointing out, just say.

I'm trying to contribute back to the community by suggesting a broken part of the docs. Is my help misguided?

Has really no one read this post in the whole week since it was posted?!

As a former Mamboer, I love the flexability of the Drupal CMS, but are the community too busy plumbing to participate in their own forums?

Drupaldocs are autogenerated content from the source code with a module. IF this is a bug within the code, you report bugs via the project. Click the Support button in the navbar up top, then click 'Submit a bug report'. In this case, the project is Drupal. Include as much information as posible.

If you are interested in setting up your own Drupaldocs site, instructions are here: http://drupal.org/node/26669

The community is just busy and six days later is the first I have seen this post. We are seeing a surge in new members and the forums are scrolling very fast. We are always happy to have new members and really enjoy having them contribute back

Welcome to the community, dive in, have fun, stick around and continue to help out. :)

Sorry, it was not my intention to berate the Drupal community, I was just getting a bit frustrated. At least now I know how to get noticed - mention Mambo :)

I'm pretty sure this is a genuine small bug, so I'll just go ahead and report it as such without confirmation.

I'm quite looking forwards to contributing to Drupal. My first priority is to get my site out the door (which is a *really* big task since it's almost all bespoke stuff) but when that's done I'll be refactoring my code into patches and submitting to Drupal proper. Already I've been doing some very interesting experiments with themes.

Jim.

No problem, I didn't read it as berating the community. I read it as someone new to the community learning his way around so I thought I'd provide the links on how you can help out more effectively. Lots of stuff going on and more people willing to pitch in and help out is only a positive thing.
