| I. Description |
------------------

Views Histogram is a plugin for Views 2 Module for Drupal 6.x
It provides an easy way to count the frequency of occurence of particular values
in a CCK field across many nodes.

	E.g.:
You have 3 nodes with field 'fruit'. Node 1 has fruit = Apple, Node 2 has fruit = Orange, Node 3 has fruit = Apple
	The module outputs

			Key | Count
		----------------
		Orange | 1
		Apple | 2

--------------------
| II. Requirements |
--------------------

	- Drupal 6.x
	- Views 2

---------------------
| III. Installation |
---------------------

	1. Copy the files under {site_root}/sites/{site}/modules/views_histogram, where {site_root} is the base path of your Drupal 6.x
installation and {site} is the name of the site (in a multisite enviroment) or 'all' (sans-quotes) if you want to make it available
to all sites installed in the same Drupal 6.x enviroment.

	2. Go to Modules page and enable the module.

---------------------
| IV. Configuration |
---------------------

	1. Add a new view.
	2. Select the field you want to be counted (notice: if you select multiple fields, the plugin will only count the top one)
	3. Select Histogram as the Style of the view
	4. Choose the right labels for the columns of the resulting table
	5. Choose whatever separators you want to use to split values with.

			E.g:
You want to count the fruits from notes but you only have one field per node where data is stores as multiple values separated by comma
			So:
Node 1 has fruit = Apple, Orange
Node 2 has fruit = Bannana
Node 3 has fruit = Orange, Cherry, Prune
			The module outputs

					Key | Count
				-----------------
				Prune | 1
				Cherry | 1
				Bannana | 1
				Apple | 1
				Orange | 2

If there was no separator support the module would output

									Key | Count
				-------------------------------
				Apple, Orange | 1
				Bannana | 1
				Orange, Cherry, Prune | 1

	6. Configure your view as you would configure other views (add filters, arguments)
