How to install this module:
---------------------------

In order to work properly, this module needs a slightly modified version of the Views module. Until this modification is permanently added to the online version of the Views module, users of this module need to manually patch their local version of the Views module with the supplied "views_variable_query_class.patch" file.

A short How-To can be found at http://drupal.org/patch/apply - follow the instructions there and apachesolr_views should soon work alright.

If there are errors while applying the patch, the patch may be outdated by recent changes to the views module, or because you use a different views version then intended for the patch. In this case, please post to the issue at http://drupal.org/node/293841 asking for help. You could also search a newer version of the patch there (if you're using the latest Views version).
You can also reply to this issue if you want to support our effort to get the patch permanently added to views. Just state that you used that patch and no problems occurred afterwards (only if it's true, of course).
