• Organic Groups and OG Vocab
  These modules provide the groups containers and access control and subscription management features. Each group gets email subscriptions, RSS feeds, own theme and own language, taxonomy, and much more.
• Views
  This module provides the custom node listings such as the ones seen on the group directory page and on the Unread posts pages.
• Date
  This CCK related module powers the events functionality.
• Signup
  This module lets users reply to events, sends reminder e-mails, broadcast messages to everyone signed up, etc.
• Markdown
  This module enables authors to use comfortable text syntax to create rich HTML posts.
• Image and image_attach
  This module enables groups to have their own image.
• Pathauto
  This module provides automatic friendly URLs for group home pages.
• Diff
  This module shows the differences between different revisions of a node, word-by-word. It also shows differences during a node edit.
• Fasttoggle
  With this module, editors may promote posts or make them posts with just a single click while reading around the site.
• Apachesolr
  This module powers the faceted search pages.
• Og Panels, Panels, and CTools
  These modules handle the custom panel pages authored by group administrators.
• Bakery
  This module is used for single-sign-on.
• Notifications and Messaging
  These modules handle the e-mails sent by the site.
• Radioactivity
  This module helps to automatically calculate the hot content on the site to create a more interesting view of the most important content than a manually curated homepage.
