Complete the setup process

To complete the setup process and add your first domain name, please follow these steps:

  1. First, you'll need to add the billing information for your account. Note: You will not be charged until you add domains, and all subscriptions are prorated by use.
  2. You might be prompted to verify your email address before you can enter your information, if so, just click the link and check your email.
  3. Once your email is verified and you've added your billing information, the "add domain" form will let you enter the domain name as well as the origin IP address or origin domain.
  4. After entering your domain it'll be added to your "domains" control panel, and the instructions for updating your DNS will be listed at the top of the screen.
  5. Once DNS is updated, and has propagated across the net - your site will be protected from any covered Drupal Security Advisories that are part of the Drupal Steward program.

Cloudflare CDN

To set up a domain and continue to use Cloudflare CDN, please follow these steps.

To avoid an interruption in service, the domain should be configured on the Drupal Steward side before you make changes in Cloudflare:

  1. Follow all the steps listed in the above section.
  2. The, in Cloudflare:
    • Create a CNAME record for www. with the CNAME value displayed on your domains page, it should look something like: www.example.com.c.section.io. and set the "Proxy Status" setting to on.
    • Once the Cloudflare settings propagate across the net - your site will be protected from any covered Drupal Security Advisories that are part of the Drupal Steward program.
