Usage

Use the module by navigating to the Search API page and perform a search action(s).

Instant feedback

Google Analytics (GA) real time reports should reflect the search API results immediately, which can be located under Real-time > Events.

Full (daily) reports

GA Event full reports and tracking can be found at Behaviour > Events > Overview. This report will not be available until the day after initial module configuration.

Report queries

When passing a search event to GA, the following attributes are sent:

• eventCategory - ID of Search API search
• eventAction - name of ui.autocomplete event
• eventLabel - here we pass the search value, depending on event this can be user’s input or selection
• eventValue - none - this can be only integer value
