Following our vertical of collaboration that we have called CDU (Comunidades de Desarrollo Unidas) we continue working to create synergies with any other community that wants it.
This time we present a new collaborative session with another great community of developers: PHP Madrid.
Unity is strength! And from Drupaleros, we want to thank the collaboration facilities and support offered by the coordinators of PHP Madrid and specifically to Dori and Carlos.
What is the talk about?
Identity on the internet is becoming more and more relevant in these days where marketing is becoming more and more ruthless.
That's why it's important to keep our users' information safe.
On the other hand, the login form is the most hacked form on the internet and since this form is used by all websites/applications, hackers are always looking for ways to break its security.
With today's talk we will try to:
Understand what we mean when we talk about identity on the internet, what is an Identity Provider (IdP).
We will show you how to create a secure and simple authentication system.
We will see how to configure a website to use this new system that is becoming more and more fashionable.
We will review what are the advantages and we will see a demo of how we can make it work with the OpenID protocol.
At the end of the talk we will see what is the future of the web and where we are heading.

Siguiendo nuestra vertical de colaboración a la que hemos llamado CDU (Comunidades de Desarrollo Unidas) seguimos trabajando por montar sinergias con cualquier otra comunidad que lo desee.
En esta ocasión os presentamos una nueva sesión colaborativa junto a otra gran comunidad de desarrolladores: PHP Madrid.

¿De qué trata la charla?
La identidad en internet, se esta volviendo, mas relevante en estos días donde el marketing cada vez es mas despiadado.
Por eso es importante tener la información de nuestros usuarios guardada a buen recaudo.
Por otro lado, el formulario de login, es el formulario mas hackeado en todo internet y dado que este formulario es usado por todas las webs/aplicaciones, los hackers buscan siempre la forma de poder romper su seguridad.
Con la charla de hoy trataremos de:
Entender a que nos referimos cuando hablamos de la identidad en internet, que es un Identity Provider (IdP).
Os enseñaremos cómo crear un sistema de autenticación segura a la par que sencilla.
Veremos cómo configurar un sitio web, para que use este nuevo sistema que cada vez esta mas de moda.
Repasaremos cuales son las ventajas y veremos una demo de cómo podemos hacerlo funcionar con el protocolo de OpenID.
Al final de charla veremos cuál es el futuro de la web y hacia donde nos estamos dirigiendo.
