What do we do?

The Community Health teams proactively work together to make the Drupal community a safer and more welcoming place for all.  By coordinating with other Drupal groups and open source communities, they improve the experience of working in open source for all Drupal contributors.

This team is not responsible for resolving conflicts between members of the community. Please see Conflict Resolution if you are looking for help with a conflict in the community.

How do we work?

Participation includes:

  • Being active in the CWG Slack workspace
  • Attending a monthly all-hands CWG call or Slack meeting
  • Participating in relevant initiatives
  • Find and train members/replacement (succession planning) through documentation

We expect Community Health team members to participate for one year.  As the end of a term approaches (or if a team member needs to step back), that team member will work with the rest of the CWG team to identify and train a replacement.

How can I contact the Community Health team?

  • You can email any CWG team at drupal-cwg [at] drupal.org. We welcome your questions, ideas, and insight on ways to support the Drupal community.
  • If you are looking to report an incident, please see the Conflict Resolution Team page. The CWG receives incident reports from Drupal community members via its Incident Report Form or via email at drupal-cwg [at] drupal.org. The incident report form and the drupal-cwg [at] drupal.org email both notify all CWG conflict resolution team members. If there is any reason that you do not want to notify the entire CWG membership, please use one of the CWG conflict resolution team members' drupal.org contact form (available from the Conflict Resolution Team page).
  • The CWG also maintains an issue tracker on Drupal.org, where members of the Drupal community are also encouraged to post general issues for discussion (e.g., proposed amendments about community-related policies, ideas of initiatives to help improve the health of the Drupal community, or other items that could benefit from wider community discussion).

How can I get involved?
