Detailed steps: 
  1. Set up prerequisites: Log in, and Chat account (Slack or DrupalChat, as of 2021) from Common Prerequisites for Contributors.
  2. Select a channel on your chat platform that you have some interest and knowledge of, such as #support, #diversity-inclusion, #module-development, #accessibility, etc. and join it.
  3. Wait for a user to ask a question, then work together with them to answer their question(s).
  4. Repeat as time permits.
  5. Add your chat user name(s) to your Drupal user profile in the personal information category.
