A Skilled Drupal site administrator should be able to do the following via the administration interface:
- Configure and manage common Drupal components (content, media, comments, blocks, menus, users, views, etc.)
- Modify common site features and confirm the outcomes
- Revert revisions
- Review reports on site health
An Expert Drupal site administrator should additionally be able to do the following via the administration interface:
- Serve as the first level of support to user account holders
- Find and understand all administration pages available via the Administration menu
- Perform a security review of site configuration
- Enable and disable site-installed contributed projects
- Toggle maintenance mode
- Clear caches
- Regenerate site search indexes
- Adjust cron automated task settings when cron is managed via the administration interface
