The communications lead for a mentored contribution event coordinates all communications with mentors.
Impact:
The mentors need to know what their responsibilities are, and when and where to show up.
Accountable for:
- works with Drupal Association staff to update MailChimp mentor subscriber list to indicate event participation
- designs and sends emails to folks who signed up to mentor
- designs and sends emails to all mentors to encourage them to sign up
- posts to groups.drupal.org/mentoring about DrupalCon mentoring opportunities
- edits the DrupalCon web site areas about the mentoring and contribution events
- does not need to be on site, but needs to be highly available during DrupalCon

After mentoring at a few events, volunteer to coordinate mentor communications at the next event.
