A tradition at every DrupalCon is the Trivia event, in which teams compete against one another in quiz-style rounds. The Trivia Curator ensures the success of this event by writing many of the questions, and selecting the final questions for each round, ensuring that the right balance of topics and difficulty is hit.

Impact: 

Fun and games for everyone in the Drupal community!

Accountable for: 
  • Writing many of the questions, which include Drupal trivia, wider technology trivia, general knowledge, and sometimes trivia about the local city or environment.
  • Encouraging others to submit questions and adding them to the trivia bank of questions.
  • Creating or selecting "picture round" clues. These vary in style but might include logos, Rebus puzzles, or other image-based questions.
  • Selecting the final questions to be included in each round, ensuring that the right balance of topics and difficulty level is reached.
  • Creating the Trivia slide deck, so everyone can read the questions as they are being called out, see the picture clues and see the answers.
  • Ensuring everyone receives credit for questions contributed.
  • Absolute secrecy!!!!!

As each DrupalCon is announced, look for requests for people to contribute questions. Reach out and offer to get involved.
