The Drupal Association has been proactive in this realm, with initiatives like the Contribution Recognition Committee and the revised contribution credit system. In Drupalcon Lille 2023 we were introduced to the Marketing team from the DA, their goal is to promote Drupal to increase adoption, and to bring new people to contribute and work on the project.
