Recognizing a New Tier: Inexperienced Drupal Developers
The need for an Inexperienced tier: there's a segment of individuals who, while having undergone training or familiarized themselves with Drupal, aren't quite ready for junior roles due to a lack of hands-on experience. Their situation isn't a reflection of their knowledge or capacity but rather their limited exposure to real-world projects.
Harnessing the Contribution Credit System
With the Drupal community's ongoing initiative to increase contributions and the evident success of the contribution credit system, we believe it's the right time to further leverage this system to benefit newcomers.

Opportunities and the Drupal Community's Readiness to Address Talent Challenges
The Drupal community, with its collaborative ethos and innovative spirit, stands ready to tackle the challenges of nurturing and integrating new talent. Here's our perspective on the promising opportunities ahead:
Recognizing and Supporting Training Initiatives
The significance of structured training initiatives like drupaleros.es, Discover Drupal, and the Drupal Career Online program by DrupalEasy is well-acknowledged within the community. These endeavors have garnered attention from both community leaders and businesses, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping the future cadre of Drupal experts.
Amplifying Contribution to Drupal
Contribution is the cornerstone of open-source communities, and Drupal is no exception. The Drupal Association has been proactive in this realm, with initiatives like the Contribution Recognition Committee and the revised contribution credit system. These efforts aim to recognize and incentivize both individual and organizational contributions, fostering a culture of collaboration and ensuring Drupal's sustained evolution.
Businesses Investing in Contribution
An emerging trend in the Drupal ecosystem is companies hiring individuals specifically to contribute to Drupal. This not only showcases the value placed on contribution but also indicates that the recognition system is bearing positive results. However, it's essential to note that while contribution is being emphasized, the hiring of fresh talent for project roles remains a challenge that needs addressing.
The Drupal Association marketing initiative
In Drupalcon Lille 2023 we were introduced to the Marketing team from the DA, their goal is to promote Drupal to increase adoption, and to bring new people to contribute and work on the project.
A global community
We can take advantage of a global community, allowing companies and inexperienced developers to match with other countries, languages, and cultures. Or even focus on their language and cultural similarities.
