Describe the organization or client.
The University of Boyaca was founded on September 22, 1979. It was created by a group of boyacenses, and its purpose was to contribute to educational, cultural and socioeconomic development of east Colombia and across the country.
Project`s timeline
1. Planning stage: At this stage, it was so important for the project requirement that was the guide for the design and development.
Architecture phase: Technical team joined to discuss the project structure.
Infrastructure phase: Analysis process of infrastructure depends on the size of the project and its restrictions.
Design and analysis phase: The researches carried out an analysis of the requirements to define the information to be considered.
2. Implementation phase:
Acquisition phase: The researches acquired storages services and domains according to the project´s needs.
Development phase: This stage started from a definition of interface design considering documents of architecture and requirements and working on a development of sprints.
3. Review phase:
Testing phase: The group performed validations of the sprints and test cycles.
4. Launch and stabilization phase: At this stage, the servers that have been defined are configured and the development is assembled. Load test are carried to validate the system supports the expected traffic. After that, the domains are routed to a new server. When the system is on the cloud system, comes a stabilization phase. Finally, the behavior of the site was monitored during the first weeks.
Why Drupal was chosen:
Drupal was adapted to the needs of University of Boyaca. The client identified our company had worked with similar projects and it was adjusted to its needs as a company.In this way, our company developed different phases to create this project.
Describe the project (goals, requirements and outcome):
Design and develop a site web that allows the positioning of University of Boyaca as educational institution with a good quality which uses technology as a partner to improve its organizational process and promote its educational offering, infrastructure, services offered and profits for the national and international students, administrative staff and the entire education community.

Why these modules/theme/distribution were chosen:
The organizational model of the University of Boyacá required a responsibility management in the content publication separated by dependencies. This separation was carried out through the group module.
XMLSitemap, Google Analytics, Metatag, Pathauto were very useful for the SEO strategy on the web site.
ECK, Context, Views, Ctools and Profile 2 provided differents tools which facilitated the construction of different functionalities with Drupal administrator instated of customized modules.
