Banca de las Oportunidades is part of an institutional policy of the National Government of Colombia and its main objective is to promote access to credits and other financial services for the non bankized Colombian population, specially the lowest-income families, micro and medium-size companies and entrepreneurs. This program, managed by the Bank for Foreign Trade - Bancoldex, makes part of the long-term policy of the National Government of Colombia to reduce poverty, promote social equity and stimulate economic development in Colombia.
Banca de las Oportunidades will facilitate the Network’s job fostering the required reforms to the regulatory framework, supporting the strategy of promotion and incentives, and promoting agreements with different sectors to achieve specific goals towards the main objective of expanding geographical outreach and facilitating access to financial services.
Project timeline
Develop stages:
1. Analysis and architecture: Development and analysis of the AI document.
2. Web Design
3. Backend development: SeeD developed functional modules and implemented the contributed modules, giving structure to the site.
4. Fronted development: SeeD undertook the front end development
5. Quality and adjustments: At this stage, Content types, integration and functionalities were validated by the QA team
6. BdO acceptation: BdO performed tests focused on validating a correct operation of each element according to the requested requirements.
7. Stabilization of the website: At this stage, bugs were validated and corrected.
8. Production:The release of the site was approved by the client.
9. Training: Training sessions were conducted, so that BdO could be empowered in updating contents of the new site.
Why Drupal was chosen:
Drupal had the characteristics that Banca de las Oportunidades was looking to have out of a CMS, such as friendly edition, creation and removal of content and easy understanding of the CMS from their content team .

Views Field: This module was developed for providing a personalized interface that makes a classification that depends on a selection of a type of category.
Paragraphs modules: It was used to create a personalized content according to the site web requirements.
Entityqueue: It defined a list of contents and its purpose was highlighted a specific order.
Views Accordion: This module facilitated the visualization of the content.
Poll module: It obtained the client's information provided thought surveys.
SMTP: It was used for sending email.
