KENDRIS is your leading Swiss partner for services relating to family office and trust, national and international tax and legal consulting, accounting, outsourcing as well as art management. For reasons of independence, the deliberate decision was taken not to offer traditional asset management.

Why Drupal was chosen:

Drupal was chosen for the KENDRIS project because its modularity allows for a great level of flexibility for the editors - they can easily create and publish content, set certain user roles and specific permissions, choose who can access (view, edit or share) specific content and much more.

In terms of features, operation, layout, and design, Drupal is highly customizable, which provides a great variety of choice to both developers and designers to address their clients’ requirements and specific needs. Drupal also allows for a non-hierarchical and flexible content structure.

KENDRIS Company Profile

Describe the project (goals, requirements and outcome):

In March 2015 KENDRIS mandated us to give their website a new, modern and professional design. Further parts of the mandate were the integration of applications in Drupal.

Additionally, the guarantee of good user experience for the user and editor was required. Another important aspect of the project was to extend the multilingualism to German, French and English.

Technical specifications

Drupal version:
Drupal 7.x
Why these modules/theme/distribution were chosen:

KENDRIS developed personas and customer journey. Subsequently, Amazee Labs derived clickable prototypes. During the definition of the functionalities, usability tests were conducted to ensure best possible usability of the website for all users.

Amazee Labs developed the new website comprehensively. The development was based on the requirements of KENDRIS and the findings from the usability tests. The services are at the heart of the website. Due to the extensive offer of KENDRIS, the individual offers are clearly represented in groups according to ranges. Prospective customers may access information in various ways regarding the services they are interested in. For every service offered by KENDRIS, a contact person is allocated to allow for personal contact.

In the library, users find documents by and about Kendris.

For the Closed User Group eKENDRIS, a single-sign-on option is available on the website. It allows KENDRIS' customers to register with just one login for all services offered. Since this feature does not require Drupal CMS, it was developed with Symfony 2. Symfony gets the current information with a RSS feed from Drupal and represents them.
