Thanks to the generous support of project founder Dries Buytaert and his spouse Vanessa Buytaert - and a new matching contribution from a coalition of Drupal businesses - any individual donations, increased memberships, or new memberships through the end of April will receive a 3:1 matching contribution to the #DrupalCares program, up to $100,000, for a total match potential of $300,000.

Terms, Conditions, and Tax Information

The following contributions are eligible for the matching program: All individual donations, membership upgrades, and membership renewals that are received from the start of the #DrupalCares campaign, through April 30th, 2020.

As part of the CARES Act, changes to tax benefits were made to incentivize charitable giving in the U.S. Beginning in 2020 and each year thereafter (this is not limited to only 2020), individuals can take a $300 above-the-line deduction on their tax returns for cash contributions to charities, regardless of whether or not the individual itemizes deductions.  Individuals will be eligible for a deduction up to 100% of adjusted gross income.
