There is probably something inherently wrong with this patch, or it would have been done... Either that, or it's sheer genius in its simplicity :-) This is for D6 includes/common.inc It worked for me in a crude ab -n 1000 -c 100 series of loadtests overnight to change a 99% failure rate to 100% success rate. But our sites are stupid simple with not much dynamic content, so that's not really much of a test.
