This guide highlights our brand’s voice—accessible, inclusive, approachable, and playful—while aligning with Drupal CMS’s values of flexibility, openness, and user empowerment. It provides practical tips and examples to help you craft clear, confident, and relatable content for marketers, content creators, and site builders.
Use this guide to ensure every message reflects Drupal CMS’s commitment to making content creation intuitive, enjoyable, and impactful.
Content strategy for v1
Drupal CMS aims to enable marketers to build and launch websites quickly. Marketers will choose which features they want their site to have, and then start adding content to their site. In order to support this, Drupal CMS will offer content types that are common across our target markets. We've created an underlying content structure of content types as the content model.
Archetypes
We’re creating three archetypes to focus the work on them to ensure we meet their needs and it's simpler to understand. We’ve included useful attributes related to skills, knowledge and experience as well as Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) for each archetype.
- Marketer
- Shared hats
- Content editor
See the full information about Archetypes for Drupal CMS.
User Personas
See the User personas page for the full information for each persona being considered for Drupal CMS. It contains links for each persona complete information (like JTBD, Pain points, skills...) and link to a PDF document to download all the info.
The different personas go into detail to understand better the needs and motivations of each one, but to gather a general overview design general experiences we recommend using the Archetypes above.
See the User personas page for all the information.
Market segmentation and target markets
To have a better understanding and categorization of the broader market, we've worked on some market segmentation and defined target markets.
See the Market segmentation and target markets for more details.
