The goal of the Drupal 10 initiative is to release Drupal 10 in 2022, providing adequate time to update sites while keeping Drupal secure and up to date.
What are we working on?
The initiative's main priorities are:
- Identify tasks to be done for Drupal 10's release, focusing on updating dependencies and removing deprecated APIs.
- Encourage and help contributed module maintainers to move along and keep modules updated.
- Release on 14, December 2022.
Who are we?
There are many contributors to this initiative; the following are the initiative's coordinators:

How can I help?
Drupal 10 Readiness initiative meetings
Community members are invited to attend our meetings every Monday at 18:00 UTC (what is that in my timezone?). This meeting is intended to provide a forum for status updates, discussion, feedback, etc. Feel free to propose agenda items ahead of time in the #d10readiness channel on Drupal Slack. The meetings are text-only, and transcripts of past meetings are available at the meeting archive [17 issues].
Slack channel
Contributors and interested community members are welcome to join #d10readiness channel on Drupal Slack.
Issues
Drupal core issues are tracked on the 10.0.x branch or using the Drupal 10 tag for issues that are to be done in Drupal 9.
For a complete overview of core plans, start from the master plan issue which is broken to further steps.
For contributed projects, look for issues tagged with “Drupal 10 Compatibility” to help.
Deprecation status
For a view into what projects in the contrib ecosystem are ready for Drupal 10, and which still need to update to fix usage of deprecated apis, check the D10 deprecation tracker.
