Telldus Live! sensors is a module for displaying Telldus Live! (A home automation gateway) sensors in a block using the Telldus Live! api. All different sensors will be presented however only known sensors will be presented with units etc. If you find a sensor that is not yet supported, please let me know.

The module requires that you have installed Pear HTTP_OAuth as this is the method used by Telldus to authenticating to their server. A basic check with basic installation hints are presented if the Pear module is not found. (Currently the HTTP_OAuth isn't released so when using the standard installation method pear might complain about the wrong channel being used. If so please try the following instead: "pear install channel://pear.php.net/HTTP_OAuth-0.3.1")

7.x-1.0

Issues / Things to do:

  • I myself have problem accessing the Telldus Live! server using https:// There is a configuration setting to change it to https://. When I do this I get a certifiate error. You might have better luck :)
  • The credential for accessing the Telldus Live! server are stored as unencrypted variables. A better solution should be implemented.

Telldus Technology is a company providing different units for automation of your home. Their units can interact with weather sensors (E.g. Oregon Scientific WMR86) as well as controling many remote switches and dimmers based on both 432 MHz and Z-wave.

8.x-1.x -> 2.0.x -> 2.1.0-alpha1

Note that 2.1.0-alpha1 has not been fully tested with Drupal 10 as the Telldus Live service has been unstable lately.

BTW
: I am not in any way connected with Telldus Technology. I originally bought one of their Tellstick Net units for home automation and wanted to display the information from my Oregon weather station on my homepage. Nowadays the unit is upgrade to a Z-Wave Gateway TellStick ZNet Lite V2. Now you know...
