Well, i have the same problem that was mentioned here http://drupal.org/node/279377
I use the last stable versions of this module and drupal. The height of embedded widget is about 100px but I've set in settings - 400px, width is normal, like was set in settings. And no, i haven't installed Global Redirect module.
Any suggestions ?

same problem here, in the admin section preview work just fine, you can see a live example in my french website (i am using drupal embed widgets 5) but the bug is also for the 6 version)

so nobody can figure this out how to solve this problem? i'm sure me and toma are not alone here with such troubles

Haven't been able to reproduce this bug in the 6.x version. If you can get a screenshot of the CSS using a tool like Firebug showing what element's height is being set to 100px, that may help.
