Before I quit drupal

mintdollar - May 16, 2008 - 10:34

please help me get my ads to work. I tried everything. I used drupal on this site for the first time. WWW.MINTDOLLAR.COM I used WordPress and SMF on the others. I need to find out how to get adds working. So I can start adding content to this one.

I wanted to do a music site and drupal seems like the only option for that. I can switch this site to Wp but I need It for My radio and music sites.

I put the goggle id in the profile. I tried the adsense injector. Adsense module and regular blocks. I tried php, full html. Im stuck..

Not spam

I am unsure whether this is a clever spam or a real cry for help, there is a rel="nofollow" on the link, so even if it is spam, it does not get anywhere.

If you are using Drupal 6.x, you need to UNCHECK html cleanup under the input formats. If you do not, then any ads from Google will not render.

Im using 5, I thought the problem was with 6 so I deleted it and started fresh. Plus I found some of the mods werent updated yet, Now Im in the same boat all over again.

I have the php enabled, I also made a custom Raw html with no options checked. THere is a ad injector format too but I havent figured that one out.

There has to be a step im missing. Every time I search the forums I spend hours looking for answers and none of them have worked. I dont understand why it wont even work with php in a block. My Ad settings show all the blocks in the options, I approve them, nothing shows.

I also get no impressions so I know its not a ads visible to me thing.

If you go there 125x should be a add instead of a blank 125x125 box.

Use a block

Sven H - May 20, 2008 - 11:49

I tried adsense injector but could not get any ads to show.

Then made a block, put the adsense code in the block body, set the block to full html.

Hey presto, adsense in my website! It does take a little time before the ads apear though, I saw them first after half a day!
